How to change my avatar and create a custom one ?
Learn how to create a Ready Player Me avatar and change it inside your space
On RLTY environment, You can use your custom Ready Player Me avatar or select an existing one.
To change your Avatar, click on your username at the top right of your screen, then, you can edit your username or change your avatar. Don’t forget to click on save.
1. Create a Ready Player Me avatar
Creating a Ready Player Me avatar is simple, and it will take you just a few minutes.
You can do it directly inside the space. For that, click on your username at the top right of your screen, then, click on Ready Player Me (connect) and login to your Ready Player Me account or start the creation process. Don’t forget to click on save.
Or you can do it on the Ready Player Me website, then select it on RLTY :
- Go to readyplayer.me/avatar
- Choose your Avatar Type
- Take or upload a selfie. To get the best results, follow these tips:
- Make sure your photo is well-lit. Dark photos will reduce the ability to define your avatar features well.
- Keep it casual. Smiling may be tempting, but think “driver’s license photo.”
- Customize your avatar's outfit, hair, eyes, and more. Ready Player Me features over 300 customization options, with new ones coming every week.
- When you're ready, click "Next."
2. Use your Ready Player Me on RLTY
On a RLTY space you can choose to change your avatar :
- Click on your name (top right of your screen)
- Browse Avatar until you arrive on the Ready Player Me logo
- Click on connect
- Choose and select the Avatar you want to use
